Privacy notice

01 What we collect

• Your name, mobile number, email address, house number, street and postcode
• What you tell us about your garden and the composite deck work you have in mind, including any photos you send
• Your quote, booking and any payments if you go ahead
• With your consent only, analytics cookies that count visits to the website

02 Why we use it

• To prepare your quote and arrange a survey you've asked for (lawful basis: steps before a contract)
• To carry out and look after the work if you go ahead (contract)
• To keep the records the law requires, such as accounts (legal obligation)
• To see how the website is used, only if you say yes to analytics (consent)

03 Contacting you

When you send a form, you agree we can contact you about your enquiry by phone, text, WhatsApp or email. You can tell us how you'd prefer to hear from us, or ask us to stop, at any time. We won't send you marketing unless you've asked for it.

04 Who we share it with

Our website host (Cloudflare) and our customer records system (Zoho) process data for us under contract. The installers who survey and build your deck receive the details they need to do the job, and photos you send are only used to assess your deck. We never sell your information.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use safeguards approved under UK law.

05 How long we keep it

Enquiries: 6 years. Quotes, jobs and invoices: 6 years. Photos you send: 6 years.

06 Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent. Email info@compositedeckinginstallersnewcastle.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
